AASB Workshop Presenters
Joseph Reeves
Joseph Reeves, Director of Membership Services, came to Alaska from the New York State School Board Association where he worked since 1986. During that time he served as Director of Superintendent Search Services, Director of Convention Planning and Director of Board Development Services. While in New York he facilitated over 300 on-site workshops for boards and more than 70 superintendent searches. Joseph has also worked as an Education Director for a research museum, an Assistant Education Inspector in Sierra Leone, and a Principal/Teacher in the Aleutian Region School District.

Carl Rose
Executive Director of AASB, Carl is a former school board member and one intensely involved in education now as a professional. He understands the challenges school boards face and is able to relate his experience and recommendations in a relevant way. He will show you that within every problematic relationship are the seeds of opportunity and growth.
