2010 Resolutions Discussion

AASB is soliciting resolutions from local school boards for consideration at the 2010 Annual Conference on Nov. 11-14 at the Anchorage Hilton Hotel. Your school board may wish to comment on proposed changes to the resolutions packet or submit resolutions of your own. The deadline established by our bylaws for AASB to receive your comments and proposals is October 1.

All resolutions received will be compiled and a complete set of resolutions containing proposals from districts will be sent back to your board 30 days before the annual conference, or by Oct. 11, 2010. If you have any questions regarding the resolutions, please contact John Greely or Joseph Reeves at 586-1083 or at jgreely [at] aasb [dot] org or jreeves [at] aasb [dot] org.

In an effort to provide a forum for your ideas, questions and comments regarding specific resolutions or more general information on the process, we have created this online discussion area.

Share Your Conference Reflections

Educator/filmmaker Marco Torres energized educators with his message of using technology to empower students and expand the boundaries of learning. In this video Marco shares his own reflections about the AASB conference and challenges other attendees to share theirs. If you attended this year's annual conference, we invite you to post your thoughts about the event here on the AASB Forum in text, audio or video form. Your collective observations will help to shape future conferences.

Welcome to the AASB Forum
