Job Opening: Community Engagement Manager

The Community Engagement Manager, works closely with the Director of Community Engagement, to ensure the smooth operation of the community engagement team by the supporting the day-to-day operations, nurturing essential partnerships, and refining programs.

The Community Engagement Manager must cultivate strong relationships with a diverse group of staff, community members and volunteers working together to effectively improve outcomes for students and families in Alaska.

The Community Engagement Manager will work with our members (school boards and districts), tribal and community partners, and our internal team to transform systems and practices in schools.

The Community Engagement Manger will work support each team member to achieve prioritized tasks that fit within our annual goals and priorities (equity, cultural integration, trauma informed schools, youth engagement, community collaboration, and family partnership). The manager will work directly with the Community Engagement Director and appropriate teams to refine workflow and activities.
