AASB’s virtual book club is wrapping up its discussion of The Disengaged Teen: Helping Kids Learn Better, Feel Better, and Live Better with a special conversation featuring the book’s co-author, Rebecca Winthrop!
Join us Wednesday, October 14, at noon for a virtual conversation with Winthrop, director of the Center for Universal Education at the Brookings Institution. She and co-author Jenny Anderson explore why young people can become disengaged from learning and what adults can do to help them reconnect.
Whether you’ve participated in AASB’s book club or are simply interested in the conversation around student engagement, this is an opportunity to hear directly from the author and ask questions about the book.
The virtual author talk is free and open to all! Sign up here.
