AASB’s Legislative Priorities

AASB’s legislative priorities for this year’s session remain aligned with those from 2024.

Representing member school districts statewide, the AASB Board of Directors has reaffirmed three key legislative priorities for the 2025 Alaska Legislative Session that focus on three primary areas of concern:

  • Sufficient and Sustainable Public Education Funding
  • Retention and Recruitment of Teachers, Administrators and Staff
  • Student Wellness and School Safety
