When and How to Provide Budget Testimony to Senate Finance
The Senate Finance Committee will hold a series of public hearings this week on the three main appropriation bills:
The committee is requesting public testimony by telephone on Wednesday, March 17 and Thursday, March 18.
Points you may want to consider for your testimony:
- Full funding for public education
- Full funding for School Bond Debt Reimbursement
- Full funding for REAA & Small Municipal School District Fund
- A state fiscal plan that creates adequate, equitable and predictable funding for education
- Funding for Pre-K programs
- Increasing broadband capacity throughout the state
- Full funding for pupil transportation
